Sara has completed her new album “Come to Life” containing the title song written by Sara. This CD has the flavor of a Southern Inspirational Blend, in today’s musical framework.
Recording at The Palace Studio in the Chicago area began April 4th when 6 songs with vocals were recorded. Sara’s additional 6 songs (5 of which Sara wrote the lyrics and music for) were recorded in a different studio by live musicians in Virginia Tuesday April 14th. Sara returned to Chicago and finalized the recordings in June, and the CD underwent mastering at Planet Blu Studios. Sara and her husband Ray completed the duplication of the project in house.
Sara made the decision to make this a more professional recording by adding background vocals and fiddle which has added a month or more of production time, but the songs are amazing. After a long spring and summer of various delays and waiting for all the different parts to come together, the project has been completed.
Release date – October 2009.
Sara Aten has just recently out did herself with her brand new project coming out this fall. I honestly believe the songs she has penned on this record are some of her best work yet! Not only is this a great record musically, but lyrically you will find it touching you deeper than anything she’s released thus far! A must for any listener’s collection of Cd’s.
